Stark County Residents Invited to Participate In Online Super Bowl Advertising Survey
CANTON, Ohio (January 21, 2000) - If you live in Stark County, a local marketing firm wants to know your opinions of the advertisements that will appear during this year's Super Bowl telecast.
Stark residents are being invited to participate in an online survey to select the five best and five worst advertisements from the 2000 Super Bowl telecast. The survey will be conducted by CantonResearch.com, an online research service of Innis Maggiore Group, a regional advertising and public relations firm.
The game will be televised Sunday, January 30, beginning at 6 p.m. on ABC-TV. NewsChannel 5 in Cleveland is the local ABC affiliate.
"National surveys about Super Bowl TV ads have become popular over the last decade," said Dick Maggiore, president of Innis Maggiore Group. "But, since Canton is the birthplace of professional football, and the Super Bowl is pro football's ultimate game, we think it will be interesting to find out what residents in this area think about the ads that appear during the telecast."
Co-sponsors with Innis Maggiore of the survey are Fishers Foods and Data Direct, a Canton-based e-Commerce and web solutions provider.
All participants who complete the survey on January 30 will automatically be entered in a prize drawing for one of three gift certificates redeemable at any Fishers Foods or Fishers Optical location in Stark County.
Results of the survey will be released on Monday, January 31, the day after the Super Bowl.
