Innis Maggiore Captures 'Best of Show' in 2009 Canton ADDYs

Agency adds Judges Award and 20 ADDYs to its trophy collection

CANTON, Ohio (February 12, 2009) - Advertising and public relations agency Innis Maggiore took Best of Show honors, a Judges Award and the lion's share of the Gold and Silver honors in Wednesday night's Canton Advertising Federation ADDY Awards at The Palace Theatre.

Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading agency in the practice of positioning, was the leading award winner, with 22 total trophies out of the 72 given at the annual advertising awards celebration. In addition to its Best of Show and Judges Award, Innis Maggiore earned 11 golds and nine silvers. Grabowski & Co. won five golds and six silvers plus a Judges Award, while Stonekap Productions Ltd. took home four golds, five silvers and one Judges Award.

Canton Advertising Federation, formerly the Canton Ad Club, annually awards ADDYs for the best creative execution in categories that include sales promotion, collateral, direct marketing, out-of-home, newspaper ads, interactive media, television, mixed/multiple media, advertising for the arts and sciences, public service and elements of advertising (such as logos, illustrations, photography, special effects and cinematography).

The Best of Show won by Innis Maggiore was for its work on the Quest Cooks "California Cuisine" event invitation. Innis Maggiore's Judges Award was given for the "Mission: Dignity" book the agency created for Dallas-based GuideStone Financial Services.

The ADDY Awards Competition is the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The Gold ADDY winners move on to regional competition for best advertising in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.
