Kent State Stark Student Wins Innis Maggiore Scholarship

CANTON, Ohio (July 31, 2012) -- Innis Maggiore President and CEO Dick Maggiore today announced that Kent State University at Stark junior Taylor Klingaman of Canton has been awarded the Innis Maggiore Endowed Scholarship for Communications.

Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading agency in the practice of positioning, originally endowed the scholarship in 2007. Full-time Kent State Stark students who reside in Stark County and major in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or advertising are eligible for the annual scholarship. Klingaman is a member of the Honors College with a major in applied communication and a double minor in marketing and business. "I chose applied communication because I felt it was the broadest option and it aligned with my plan to go back to school for my master's degree," Klingaman said. "I would like to return to Kent State for my master's and stay in the area when I pursue a career."
