Dick Maggiore Honored by Sales and Marketing Execs Group
CANTON, Ohio (Feb. 28, 2013) -- Dick Maggiore, president & CEO of Innis Maggiore Group, was honored Tuesday night with the Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award at a gala dinner hosted by Sales and Marketing Executives International.
Maggiore won the award for his work in establishing Innis Maggiore as the nation's leading advertising agency in the practice of positioning. Jeff Monter, Innis Maggiore principal creative services, was selected to present the honor to Maggiore.
"As the leading practitioner of positioning in the world of advertising, Dick is one of the foremost strategic thinkers in our industry," Monter said. "His experience and insights are always valuable as he works collaboratively with his associates to develop winning ideas and strategies for all of Innis Maggiore's clients."
In presenting the award, Monter also saluted Maggiore's investment in the workplace environment and in the Canton-area community to support a variety of charities and causes.
The Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award is the latest in a number of honors bestowed on Maggiore during his career. They include the 1998 Canton Chapter of the American Advertising Federation's Ad Person of the Year, the 2003 Community Salute Award from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the 2009 Kent State University Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award.
