Wittmer returns as Innis Maggiore’s spring advertising agency intern
Denver Wittmer returns to Innis Maggiore as a spring advertising agency intern.
CANTON, Ohio (Jan. 24, 2024) — Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading agency in the practice of positioning, today announced Denver Wittmer returns as a spring advertising agency intern.
Wittmer completed an internship with Innis Maggiore in the fall of 2022 and has since continued working with the agency on independent projects.
Wittmer will work as a copywriter in the creative department under the direction of Executive Creative Director Scott Edwards. He will craft copy for various media, including web, social, and video, and will contribute to numerous client projects through his research, creative concepting, and content marketing.
“We’re pleased to welcome Denver back as our spring advertising agency intern,” said Innis Maggiore President Mark Vandegrift. “With a full-service integrated agency, he’ll continue to broaden his skills through projects that touch every department. It’s clear, so far, that he’s already taken full advantage of that opportunity. And we’re eager to watch him continue expanding his versatility.”
Wittmer says he’s always loved storytelling.
“My classes and film projects sharpen other areas like scriptwriting, but as an advertising agency intern, I’m practicing copywriting where I’m telling the stories of different brands,” said Wittmer. “It’s been so refreshing to research different clients and their industries, and to illustrate their value, through words, to the market.”
From North Canton, Wittmer is a senior at Malone University, where he’s studying digital arts, marketing, and professional writing and editing. In 2022, he won the Excellence in Screenwriting Award and the Audience Award in Malone’s Open Frame Film Festival for his piece, “The Most Unlucky of Us.” Wittmer enjoys visual media, like movies, TV, and documentaries, reading, and music — each of which he feels influences his writing.
