CANTON, Ohio (Sept. 25, 2025) — Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, today announced the agency has extended advertising firm internships to Samantha Abate and Jeff Summers.

Abate will balance her time between the media department and the public relations department. Reporting to Alyssa Laubacher, media and digital marketing manager, she will gain experience in SEO strategy, organic and paid social media, and media planning. Reporting to Merce Brown, PR and content marketing manager, Abate will engage in tactics such as media research, content creation, and media relations. A senior at Kent State University, she is pursuing a degree in public relations.

“Through this advertising firm internship, I look forward to applying the skills I’ve developed through my coursework to real-world clients,” said Abate. “I plan to contribute to a variety of agency projects while gaining professional skills for my future career.”

As a client services intern, Summers will report directly to Tony Bell, executive director of client services. During his advertising firm internship, he will engage in the onboarding process for new clients as well as participate in the development of promotional campaigns from the strategy stage to final execution. Summers is a senior studying marketing at Kent State University at Stark.

“Everyone has a story to tell, and when you take the time to understand it, you can make a lasting impact,” said Summers. “With an advertising firm internship, I can watch this process firsthand and assist clients as we help them achieve their marketing goals.”
