Global Leader SilverStripe Names Innis Maggiore North American Partner
Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading ad agency in the practice of positioning, has become New Zealand-based SilverStripe's fifth North American professional partner. Earning professional partner status acknowledges the agency's strategic and creative deployment of the software developer's web content management system (CMS). SilverStripe's other North American partners are located in California, Nova Scotia, Wisconsin and Vermont.
SilverStripe is an open source CMS, used to construct and manage websites, web applications and intranets. The CMS focuses on usability and well-built architecture, and because it's free, has gained popularity with web developers worldwide. SilverStripe was the first open source CMS to be certified by Microsoft and was the platform of choice to run the U.S. Democratic National Convention website that supported Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. With users in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe, SilverStripe's North American clients include Lenovo, Marketo, the University of Wisconsin, Kohler Credit Union and the Vermont General Assembly.
"We are delighted to welcome Innis Maggiore as our fifth North American Professional Partner. This is an exciting milestone for SilverStripe as we grow our presence in North America. We look forward to working with Innis Maggiore on more high-quality SilverStripe sites such as the Aultman Hospital website and the award-winning North Canton City Schools site," said Sam Minnée, CEO and co-founder of SilverStripe.
Innis Maggiore's newly launched website for Aultman Hospital is showcased on SilverStripe community site. Aultman is the largest hospital and largest employer in Stark County, Ohio. Innis Maggiore created a web presence for Aultman that features a physician search, online scheduling, symptom checker, a patient portal and more. In addition to the main hospital's website, the agency also used SilverStripe to create web properties for Aultman Medical Group and Aultman Foundation.
"I've been using SilverStripe for two years now and it is such an easy interface compared to the last CMS we used," said Cortney Fisher, lead content manager for Aultman. "Innis Maggiore has quickly developed any custom features we want and they give me complete control over making future adjustments, including wizards, galleries and contact forms. We're planning to convert at least one additional web property within the next few months because we love SilverStripe so much and value all of its benefits."
As a SilverStripe user since 2011, Innis Maggiore used it to build the award-winning North Canton City Schools website, and to develop sites for more than 30 organizations including Stark County District Library, Ichor Restaurant Group, Greenport Financial Advisors and Howard & O'Brien.
"Our clients like the usability of this very user-friendly content management system," said Jason Sypolt, senior web developer at Innis Maggiore. "From a development perspective, it allows us to rapidly build and change website structure and content. Because it's open source, it's in a constant state of development. This means we can improve the system and fix bugs, submit to the main code repository and if SilverStripe accepts the changes, it's available to everyone and everyone benefits."
