Caravan of Love Partners with FranSource and Innis Maggiore on Nonprofit Licensing and Rebrand

CANTON, Ohio (Aug. 24, 2026) – FranSource, the leading franchise development specialists, and Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, today announced their collaboration with Caravan of Love, a mobile human services nonprofit formerly known as Forever R Children. The partnership has provided nonprofit licensing capabilities and a complete rebrand, positioning the nonprofit to serve communities on a national scale.

After experiencing homelessness himself, Robert P. Ford Jr. founded Forever R Children, now Caravan of Love, to provide mobile, compassionate, and life-changing services to individuals and families with barriers to access. What began with food distributions to local students soon grew into a grassroots organization offering hygiene, showers, nutrition, clothing, toiletries, and other ongoing care resources.

Caravan of Love meets those in need through a unique nonprofit model of pop-up events and mobile service units. Among its growing fleet is the renowned shower bus, a facility where homeless individuals can restore their dignity by freshening up with a shower and receiving a new set of clothes and haircut. Shower bus appearances are also known to host other resources, including employment and housing opportunities, through community partners eager to join these “caravans of love.”

As the nonprofit looked to expand, it was clear the name Forever R Children only captured a small segment of its evolved model of care. As an agency specializing in positioning strategy, Innis Maggiore proposed a comprehensive rebrand strategy that emphasized the organization’s unique approach to providing dignity, access, and human connection through on-the-go services.

“Robert described his long-term vision for the organization as building ‘endless caravans of love’,” said Mark Vandegrift, president and CEO of Innis Maggiore. “Immediately, we all agreed that name perfectly reflected the nonprofit’s brand position as a mobile-based ministry.”

Following the rebrand, which involved the creation of a new identity, logo, shower bus wrap, and website, Caravan of Love partnered with FranSource to develop a nonprofit licensing system that would allow it to expand.

“Licensing allows a nonprofit to multiply its mission without taking on the added responsibility of serving other areas around the country,” said Steve Vandegrift, president of FranSource. “Following Robert’s vision, we developed operations manuals, brand style guides, bus operational protocols, and other licensing materials that will equip other nonprofit organizations with the framework and protocols to develop their own caravans of love.”

Through nonprofit licensing, Caravan of Love preserves its mission by maintaining direct oversight of its branding components. The expansion system simultaneously allows like-minded nonprofit organizations to bring the same services using an existing and proven model, ensuring new communities can gain access to Caravan of Love’s comprehensive mobile human services.

“The rebrand and nonprofit licensing have already yielded incredible results in uniting community-minded individuals to take on our mission,” said Ford. “We have inquiries across the nation, and now that we have the tools, we can support these groups in bringing our vision to life.”

Recently, Caravan of Love announced its expansion into Canton, with the city providing funding through a grant it obtained. As plans unfold for its next chapter, the growing mobile human services provider continues to field inquiries from coast to coast.
