Innis Maggiore Invests Anew in KSU Stark Scholarship
CANTON, Ohio (Dec. 20, 2011) -- Innis Maggiore President and CEO Dick Maggiore today announced that in keeping with the spirit of the season of giving, the nation's leading advertising agency in the practice of positioning has contributed an additional $10,000 to the scholarship fund it has endowed at Kent State University Stark Campus.
Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading advertising agency in the practice of positioning, originally endowed the scholarship for Kent State Stark students in 2007. The Innis Maggiore Endowed Scholarship for Communications is awarded to full-time students whose residence is in Stark County and who are majoring in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or advertising.
"As the level of education rises, so goes the quality of our community," President and CEO Dick Maggiore said. "It is a fact that education has great potential to be uplifting not only to individual students but to our community at large. Our vision for the scholarship is to help elevate the quality of life here in Stark County, and for Stark County someday soon to have more baccalaureate degrees than any other Ohio county.
"The scholarship endowment continues to earn and grow, so its contribution to elevating our community's education grows as well. It is just one small way we as responsible citizens can help raise the tide of education here," Maggiore said.
