Innis Maggiore Promotes Three to Senior Account Executive
CANTON, Ohio (November 10, 1999) - Innis Maggiore Group today announced that it has promoted Thomas Delamater to senior account executive in its public relations department and Doug Bennett and Mark Vandegrift to senior account executive in its client services department.
Delamater brings more than 20 years of journalism and public relations experience to Innis Maggiore. He was most recently a senior public relations writer and account executive.
Before joining the agency in August 1998, Delamater was the assistant general manager of marketing and communications for the Canton Crocodiles professional baseball team. Before that he was executive director of institutional advancement for Ambassador University in Big Sandy, Texas. He has also worked as a marketing consultant, advertising copywriter, commercial voiceover talent and catalog creative director, and is a former president of the Big Sandy Chamber of Commerce.
Delamater holds a bachelor's degree from Ambassador University and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. He resides in North Canton with his wife and three children and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. He was recently nominated to serve on the board of the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce.
Bennett has been with Innis Maggiore since 1997 and was most recently an account executive. He joined the agency after a successful eight-year career in non-profit management, including a three-year stint as executive director of the American Heart Association of Stark County. Bennett has also worked for Procter & Gamble, the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Kent State University.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising from Kent State University and is a resident of Canton. He is a member of the Canton Rotary Club.
Vandegrift is a resident of Canton, he was previously an account executive at the agency. Prior to joining Innis Maggiore, he served as business manager and designer for Monter Creative and before that as controller for Scorecard Plus. Vandegrift joined Innis Maggiore in October 1998.
Vandegrift earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Hillsdale College in Michigan.
