Custom Auto Body Revs Up Vanity Plate Billboard Campaign

CANTON, Ohio (March 9, 2000) - Custom Auto Body, a leading regional automotive repair center, kicks off a 10-month billboard campaign this week that features messages fashioned in the form of vanity license plates.

The campaign, developed by Innis Maggiore Group of Canton, includes four boards, each of which use two vanity plates ­ a crumpled plate, and a repaired plate. The vanity plate messages will rotate among billboard locations throughout the Canton area.

"We've come up with a strategic creative message that's designed to build consumer preference," said Lance Runion, general manager at Custom Auto Body, 7726 Whipple Ave., N.W.

Innis Maggiore, an advertising and public relations firm based in Canton, is Custom Auto Body's agency of record.
