Local Logos Draw National Attention
CANTON, Ohio (March 20, 2003) - Corporate identity materials from several local organizations are in the same league as corporate giants Coca-Cola, Walt Disney companies and Dunkin' Donuts when it comes to winning awards.
Logos and other designs from the local companies have been selected as winners in a national contest along with those major corporations and will be published in American Corporate Identity, an annual compendium of the nation's best new corporate ID materials.
The local materials include:
- New corporate logos for Republic Engineered Products and United Glass & Panel Systems, a glass installer based in Canton.
- New letterhead designs for United Glass and Beggs Motor Homes, a North Canton recreational vehicle dealer.
- A new corporate identity manual for Aultman Health Foundation.
All were designed by Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising and public relations firm based in Canton.
American Corporate Identity conducts an annual competition to recognize excellence in such areas as corporate logos, trademarks, package designs and image brochures. Since 1970, it has published the winners annually in a hardbound book distributed internationally by HarperCollins.
