Akron University Student Wins Innis Maggiore Scholarship
CANTON, Ohio (March 19, 2004)-Michelle Lieszkovszky of Louisville, Ohio, a third-year student at the University of Akron, is this year's winner of the annual Innis Maggiore Group Scholarship. Michelle was awarded $1,500.
Michelle, who is majoring in advertising and e-marketing, carries a 3.84 GPA and is scheduled to graduate in Fall 2005. She plans to focus on market research.
Innis Maggiore Group established the scholarship fund last year to help students pursue careers in advertising.
"Michelle represents the quality of students we want to attract to our industry," said Dick Maggiore, president of Innis Maggiore Group. "Our goal is to help students fulfill their dreams of successful advertising careers."
The Cleveland Advertising Association Education Foundation administers the scholarship fund.
