Innis Maggiore Makes Second Donation to Scholarship Fund
Funds will benefit Kent State Stark students and region
CANTON, Ohio (December 18, 2007 ) - Innis Maggiore (www.innismaggiore.com), the nation's leading agency in the practice of positioning, recently made a $10,000 donation to its endowed scholarship for students at Kent State University's Stark County campus (www.stark.kent.edu). The donation is the second of that amount since 2006.
Earnings from the Innis Maggiore Endowed Scholarship for Communications are intended to help local students with the expenses incurred while getting their education.
Full-time Kent State Stark students who reside in Stark County and major in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or advertising are eligible. A minimum 2.5 G.P.A. is necessary to qualify. To apply, students are required to write an essay about why they have chosen their major and how they will positively contribute to the field. Through financial assistance and scholarships like the Innis Maggiore Endowed Scholarship for Communications, we are able to alleviate some of the financial burden carried by our students. This scholarship will help generations of students achieve their dreams," said Dr. Betsy Boze, Dean of Kent State Stark.
