Innis Maggiore Selected as Publisher for Official Canton - Stark County Visitors' Guide
2008 Guide to Offer Enhancements; No Advertising Display Rate Increase
CANTON, Ohio (Oct. 2, 2007) - Innis Maggiore has been selected as publisher and designer for the 2008 Official Visitors' Guide for Canton - Stark County. The directory is produced by the Canton - Stark County Convention and Visitors' Bureau. A total of 90,000 guides will be distributed to key locations, allowing area businesses the opportunity to reach the more than 2.3 million tourists who visit the area each year.
"The quality of design offered by Innis Maggiore will greatly enhance the new guide," said John Kiste, executive director of the Canton - Stark County Convention and Visitors' Bureau.
Ad space deadline for the guide is Nov. 5, 2007. Interested advertisers should contact Innis Maggiore.
In addition to the design enhancements offered by Innis Maggiore, the new and improved guide will:
- Feature larger, enhanced maps for easy reference
- Offer advertisers the opportunity to mark their location on the map with a logo
- Include new and enhanced editorial sections, including "Gateway to Amish Country," "Best of Stark County," and "Golf Capital"
- Provide dynamic event listings where advertisers can promote their events
"The guide is a great opportunity for area businesses to be included in Stark County's most detailed guide to events, attractions, shopping, dining and accommodations, " said Kiste. "Even with all the valuable new features offered this year, we have not raised advertising display rates."
The guides, which will be available Feb. 2008, are distributed to various locations and organizations, including Stark County hotels and bed & breakfasts; AAA offices across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Michigan; Ohio turnpike centers; the Tourist Information Center located next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame; the Visitor Center at the Akron-Canton Airport; the Ohio State Fair; local tourism partners; shows and expos; and Chamber offices in Stark County. Stark County has, on average, 2.3 million tourists per year.
