Innis Maggiore's Sweep of 2012 Canton ADDYs Includes 'Best of Show'
Positioning Agency Tallies 28 of 69 Trophies Awarded
CANTON, Ohio (February 24, 2012) - Paced by the Best of Show and a Judges Award, advertising and public relations agency Innis Maggiore was the big winner at Thursday night's Canton Advertising Federation 2012 Canton ADDYs.
Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading advertising agency in the practice of positioning, earned nine Gold ADDY awards and 17 Silvers, but the spotlight shined brightest on the agency's Best of Show and Judges awards.
The 2012 Canton ADDYs Best of Show was awarded for the "Darker is Better" sales kit Innis Maggiore created for Berries For Life, Fort Wayne, Ind. The judges cited the compelling copy, vivid and colorful design, exquisite paper choice and overall outstanding focus on selling details throughout the project. Creative Director Scott Edwards and Associate Creative Director Lee-Ann DeMeo led the project's conceptualization and execution.
The agency's Judges Award was for "Just in Case Safety Tips" consumer trade advertising campaign developed for Dallas-based GuideStone Financial Resources' Property & Casualty Program.
Innis Maggiore won nine Gold ADDYs for other work it did for GuideStone Financial Resources, GOJO Industries, Republic Steel, Berries For Life, Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority and the Main Course Murder performance.
The agency also won 17 Silver ADDYs for work it did for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., GuideStone Financial Resources, Republic Steel, GOJO Industries, Greenport Financial Advisors, Captive Radiology and the Canton Advertising Federation.

The 2012 Canton ADDYs were awarded for the best creative execution in a variety of categories including advertising, collateral, out-of-home, mixed/multiple media, public service and others. The ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The Gold ADDY winners automatically move on to regional competition for best advertising in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.
