CANTON, Ohio (Sept. 12, 2024) — Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, today announced the addition of two full-time associates and two interns. Carson Brown was hired as an account executive and Anna Hjerpyn was hired as a web developer. Aubrey Barbaro and Logan Hohlbaugh were hired as fall brand marketing agency interns.

Brown will join the client services team and will report to Tony Bell, executive director of client services. Prior to Innis Maggiore, Brown began his account management career assisting analysts with healthcare EHR systems. He will strengthen the client services team using a blend of expertise in solutions architecture and interpersonal skills. Originally a St. Louis native, Brown graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in rhetoric and media studies and a minor in politics.

A former Innis Maggiore intern, Hjerpyn will continue her career at the brand marketing agency as a full-time web developer. She will report directly to Jeremy Smith, web director. Hjerpyn will be responsible for building and maintaining several client websites through front-end and back-end development. Her work will primarily revolve around creating user-friendly interfaces, managing server-side logic, and handling database management. Hjerpyn earned her degree in computer science at The Ohio State University.

Barbaro will complete her brand marketing agency internship in the media department under the direction of Alyssa Laubacher, media and digital marketing manager. Barbaro will gain exposure in Google analytics, SEO training, social media and Google ads management, and programmatic monitoring. She recently received a degree in communications and minor in marketing from Ohio University.

Hohlbaugh, a creative intern, will report to Cheryl Henderson, creative director. Along with completing several internal projects, he will be involved in the entire brand marketing agency creative process, including concepting, developing, and designing client work. Hohlbaugh attends Kent State University, where he studies visual communication design and photography.

“We’re excited to expand our client services and web teams with Carson and Anna and give Aubrey and Logan firsthand experience in our media and creative departments,” said Mark Vandegrift, Innis Maggiore president. “As a leading brand marketing agency, it’s important to continue to enhance our capabilities and demonstrate our innovative approach to strategic communications.”
