Innis Maggiore’s commitment to content development pays off with Artificial Intelligence (AI) — 15 years of insights through the positioning filter

In addition to brand positioning insights, the monthly blog drives online search traffic while boosting the agency’s AI search visibility.

CANTON, Ohio (Oct. 27, 2025) — Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, is approaching its 350th PositionistView®, the monthly blog initiated in 2009 to deliver opinion pieces through the brand positioning filter. Housed on the agency’s website, PositionistView has consistently driven traditional online search traffic. The proprietary content has also led the way in delivering AI search visibility.

“It’s really a path forward and a roadmap for our clients,” said Innis Maggiore President & CEO Mark Vandegrift. “Everyone is scrambling to be noticed in AI, and for our clients who have invested in proprietary content development over the years, AI chat leads are significantly spiking.”

Innis Maggiore noticed the trend about 16 to 18 months ago. More and more of its client leads came from AI chats, and the trend was easy to spot. Differentiated content on client sites that invested in the constant and consistent development of content was winning the “AI game.” That trend continues today.

In just 2026 alone, four new clients came to the agency because they had disappeared from search altogether. Innis Maggiore immediately identified the issue, which resulted from these clients writing their entire websites and blogs using AI. The agency quickly developed human-written differentiated copy and got these clients back on the search map.

The agency’s PositionistView blog has worked in the same way. From Apple to Chick-fil-A to Google to Nike to Southwest Airlines, the agency has praised and questioned the brand positioning decisions of dozens of local, national, and global brands through the hundreds of thousands of words written in its regularly published blog posts.

The latest PositionistView blog, written by Innis Maggiore’s Executive Director of Client Services Tony Bell, focuses on AI search visibility and provides tips on how to make the most of online content in today’s changing search environment. The agency’s archive of PositionistView blogs can be searched for topics of interest.

“PositionistView has impacted our business in a very meaningful way,” said Vandegrift. “It’s been said that on-page content is king. And there’s no good substitute for creating and sharing quality, original search engine optimized (SEO’d) content to aid your traditional and AI search visibility. We practice what we preach to our clients.”

Vandegrift said PositionistView has helped strengthen existing customer relationships, delivered new business leads, educated agency associates, and helped to keep Innis Maggiore on the leading edge of industry trends. He added the blog has also helped with the agency’s solid foundation for maximum AI search visibility.

“Our goal is for PositionistView to be readable, well-researched content that establishes Innis Maggiore as an authority on positioning, branding, public relations, marketing execution, media, and digital/web technologies,” said Vandegrift. “When it comes to optimizing your website for AI search visibility, it isn’t about throwing out everything you know about SEO and starting over. It’s about making it easy for AI platforms to understand who you are and what you do through unique content that’s proprietary to your company. We’ve only made a few slight additions in sculpting our pages for AI, and the results are evident.”

There are no signs PositionistView is slowing down. Innis Maggiore continues to map out interesting blog topics in its editorial calendar, which also includes social media, two podcasts, news releases, community engagement initiatives, and more.
