Denver Wittmer begins his ad agency career at Innis Maggiore.

CANTON, Ohio (Aug. 15, 2024) – Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, announced that Denver Wittmer has joined its team as an account planner. The role is designed to help clients develop their brand personalities, uncover expansion potential, and build customer relationships to grow their businesses.

Wittmer previously participated in the agency’s internship program in the fall of 2022 and the spring of 2024. He served as a copywriter in the creative department, where he developed copy for web, social, and video applications. Since then, he continued to collaborate with the agency on various independent projects.

Wittmer will work closely with the agency’s account leads to gain new insights and develop new opportunities to enhance clients’ advertising efforts by maintaining a pulse on the latest industry trends. In his latest career move, Wittmer will also assist as a producer and editor of the Brand Shorthand podcast.

“Account planners are very difficult to find … you could call them unicorns,” said Mark Vandegrift, Innis Maggiore president. “Denver is the perfect fit. He excels in creativity, from conceptualization to execution, as his director role in his awarding-winning film at Malone University attests. His talent matches the skillset required for an account planner.”

Following his time in stone masonry, Wittmer studied marketing, digital arts, and professional writing at Malone University. A North Canton native, he pursues a number of creative interests, including screenplay writing, movies, and television. Before starting his advertising agency career at Innis Maggiore, he embraced his adventurous spirit with a 4,500-mile solo trip through several natural wonders, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Zion, and more.
