New YMHA Logo Draws National Attention
CANFIELD, Ohio (March 19, 2003) - The Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority is in the same league as corporate giants Coca-Cola, Walt Disney companies and Dunkin' Donuts when it comes to award-winning logos.
YMHA's new logo has been selected in a national contest as a winner along with those major corporations and will be published in American Corporate Identity, an annual compendium of the nation's best new corporate ID materials.
The YMHA logo was designed in 2002 by Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising and public relations firm with offices in Youngstown and Canton, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pa.
American Corporate Identity conducts an annual competition to recognize excellence in such areas as corporate logos, trademarks, package designs and image brochures. Since 1970, it has published the winners annually in a hardbound book distributed internationally by HarperCollins.
