Innis Maggiore Group Announces Plans for Relocation, Expansion

CANTON, Ohio (December 22, 1998) - To accommodate its growing business and staff, Innis Maggiore Group Inc. today announced plans to move to a 12,000-square-foot building in the Belden Village area by mid-1999.

The advertising and public relations firm chose the site at 4715 Whipple Ave., N.W., formerly the Aultman Center for One-Day Surgery, from among 20 locations it considered in the Canton/Akron area. An architect has been hired to map out extensive renovations.

"This building is architecturally outstanding, and will give us convenient access to Route 77, plenty of needed space and a truly landmark location," said Dick Maggiore, president of Innis Maggiore Group. "Besides strengthening our position in the Canton/Akron area, this site will support our ongoing expansion into Cleveland, Youngstown and other areas of northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania."

The new site offers more than twice as much space as the agency occupies now in two locations, both of which will be vacated. The main building, located at 2833 Cleveland Ave., N.W., Canton, is for sale. A smaller office suite at 610 N. Main St., North Canton, is the former home of Monter Creative Design, which merged with Innis Maggiore in November.

Innis Maggiore Group Inc., based in Canton, Ohio, is a regional advertising and public relations agency. The agency employs 28 people and reported capitalized billings last year of nearly $7 million, up 47 percent from the prior year. Major clients include Aultman Health Foundation, Republic Engineered Steels, Camelot Music, Oasis Floral Products, Preferred Rubber Compounding, Communication Resources, Akrochem Corp. and Alpha Enterprises.
