Maggiore Presented Lifetime Achievement Award by Canton Ad Federation

CANTON, Ohio (May 5, 2015) - Citing his more than three decades of service and leadership, Canton Advertising Federation bestowed its Lifetime Achievement Award on Dick Maggiore, president and CEO of Innis Maggiore, the nation's leading advertising agency in the practice of positioning.

CAF President Joe Smithberger presented Maggiore with the honor before a crowd of peers who work in Canton's advertising industry. Maggiore previously received the Canton Ad Federation Ad Person of the Year/American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award in 1999.

"Dick's leadership, including his presidency in 1988-'89, and his participation and support in our ad club's activities over the years have helped shape our organization for the betterment of our members and their clients," Smithberger said.

In accepting the award, Maggiore said serving and leading Canton Advertising Federation has been an honor that continues to return dividends for the agency, its clients, and to him personally.

"Without question, all of us who participate in this organization get better as our industry gains strength, shares experiences, and competes for new business and acknowledgement of our creativity and successes," Maggiore told the audience. "Our ad club provided the opportunity to bring the father of positioning, Jack Trout, here for a program.
