Innis Maggiore is supporting career-learning opportunities through the Stark Education Partnership.

CANTON, Ohio (May 14, 2024) — Innis Maggiore, the nation’s leading positioning ad agency, today announced its support for the Stark Education Partnership’s (SEP) annual fundraiser, the Journey to the Summit. The contribution was made through the Innis Maggiore Community Endowed Fund administered by the Stark Community Foundation.

The SEP focuses on developing and retaining the talents of Stark County students by hosting career-connected learning opportunities like field trips, job shadows, and internships. The organization facilitates these experiences through its network of 22 schools and 40 employers.

“We provide students with an understanding of their career interests and aptitudes, then match them to careers and employers who best fit their profile,” said Dr. John Richard, president of the Stark Education Partnership. “Students who have a clear understanding of their interests and abilities will be more likely to fulfill their potential and grow their roots in Stark County.”

The Stark Education Partnership hopes the Journey to the Summit will expand its reach throughout the county, giving every middle and high school student the chance to discover potential career paths that complement their passions and skillsets by 2025.

Equally passionate about investing in Stark County youth, Innis Maggiore has extended its support for the campaign through the Innis Maggiore Community Endowed Fund.

“We are so proud to continue investing in our community alongside partners like the Stark Education Partnership,” said Mark Vandegrift, president of Innis Maggiore. “Programs where young people can envision their futures right here in Stark County are invaluable to employers and students alike.”

Outside of its support for the Stark Education Partnership, Innis Maggiore’s Endowed Scholarship for Communications supports local college students pursuing careers in marketing and communications. Applicants are eligible on an annual basis. Students must attend Kent State University at Stark, reside in Stark County, major in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or advertising, and demonstrate financial need. The agency also provides students firsthand career experience through its internship program, and its associates frequently participate as guest lecturers in schools and colleges throughout the area.
